Events

Department of Management Studies, NMIT, holds several events through the year. Faculty and students also attend events outside the campus. These events make the program a synergistic combination of theory and practice. The exposure at the events enable the students develop diversified thinking and brings them close to business. Some of the featured events we have are Business and Information Sessions, Guest Talks, FDPs, EDPs, MDPs, CDPs, National and International Conferences, Industry Visits, Know-How Sessions, Alumni Meets, Industry-Institutions Summits.

Adhiveshana – State level Inter –Collegiate Management Fest 2017, under the umbrella of Anaadyanta 2017 was organized with much with much pride and pompous on 9th March, 2017. The flagship event of the department of management studies saw the participation of more than 78 teams and was a resounding success.

‘Business Quiz’ for I semester students was organized on 17th December, 2016 as a part of Management activity. Mr.Bhimsen, a well-known quiz master in Bengaluru hosted the event. The program was received in a highly enthusiastic and excited manner by the students.

‘Pehal 2016’ – a welcome party for freshers (Batch 2016-18) was hosted by students of 2nd year

  • Free Cardiac Risk Assessment Camp
  • Blood Donation Camp

Many Management colleges represented by under-graduate/ post-graduate students took part in various events like, Adya (Marketing, Innovation and Product Launch), Chanakya (Best Manager), Vaanijya Prashnika (Business Quiz), Vibha (Finance Case Analysis), and Samkata Prabhanda (HR Crisis Manager).

Mr.Bhimsen, Manager-Academics at T.I.M.E institute was invited as the Guest of Honor who was also the Quiz Master for Yaksha Prashna (Business Quiz).
‘Adhiveshana’ which means ‘Session’ in Sanskrit, was a day filled with reminiscences of many good to great management events in the department. With Seshadripuram First Grade College, Bengaluru lifting the Overall Championship Trophy, the Department of Management Studies, NMIT took the knowledge of management, one step further efficaciously.

ANAADYANTA Management Fest 2019, a flagship event organised by Dept. Of Management studies NMIT had a cavalcade of managerial contests witnessing more than 120 teams participating across the state. Organised on the theme Mahabharata, the event had a great participation making a firm success.Brigadier YoginderParimu , Retired Army officer was the chief guest of the event.
