Dr. Sanjay H A, Prof.& Head, Dept. of ISE, NMIT

Dr. Sanjay H A received the BE degree in electrical and electronics engineering from the University of Kuvempu, India, in 1996 and the M.Tech. Degree in computer science and engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India, in 2001. He has done his PhD in Supercomputer Education and Research Center at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. His Research interests include Grid Computing; Cloud computing, Parallel Computing, Distributed Systems and Performance Modeling of parallel applications. He has published research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. He has Research projects with a total of Rs 26 Lakhs funding from Department of Information Technology - New Delhi, VTU and VGST. Six Ph.D students are working under his guidance in the area of Grid & Cloud Computing.


Dr. N G Goudru, Professor, Dept. of ISE, NMIT

Dr.N.G.Goudru, received M.Sc (Applied Mathematics) degree from Karnataka University, Dharwar, India in 1981, Ph.D (Mathematics) degree from Gulabarga University, India in 1989, M.S (s/w Systems) degree from BITS, Pilani, India in 1997, M.Tech (Information Technology) degree from Karnataka State Open University, Mysore, India in 2010. He has submitted the thesis for Ph.D (Computer Science and Engineering) degree to VTU, Belgaum, India in October 2016. His areas of research are in the fields of Mobile wireless networks, modeling and performance analysis of heterogeneous networks, and Enhancement of QoS in wired, wireless and mobile communications. He has publications in reputed International Journals and presented many research papers in International/National conferences. He is the author of two books on discrete mathematics.


Dr. Swarnalatha K S, Professor, Dept. of ISE, NMIT

Dr. Swarnalatha received the BE degree in Information Science and Engineering from the VTU, in 2001 and the M.Tech. Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University, India, in 2006. She has done her PhD on “Constructive and Productive Framework for Requirement Engineering Process Model” in VTU 2016. Her Research interests include Software Engineering. She has published research papers in reputed international journals and conferences. She is Co-Principal investigator for the project “Design and Development of therapeutic Exoskeleton for Muscular Dystrophy and Comatose " under by Karnataka Council for Technological Upgradation, Gov. Of Karnataka (GoK) worth of 36.66 lakhs.


Dr. Shakthi Mishra, Associate Professor, Dept. of ISE, NMIT

Dr. Shakti Mishra received her Ph.D. degree from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, India in year 2012. She holds B.Tech. degree in Computer science & Engineering from Uttar pradesh Technical University. She has ten years of experience in teaching and research. She is currently associated with Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore, India as an Associate professor. Her current area of research includes Web 3.0, Distributed Computing, Machine Learning, and Wireless networks. She has published more than 40 research papers in various reputed International Conferences and Journals. She is member of ACM and Computer Society of India.


Dr. Manoj Kumar M V, Associate Professor, Dept. of ISE, NMIT

Dr. Manoj Kumar M V has obtained his Engineering and M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering discipline from VTU, Belagavi. He has done full-time Ph.D. (MHRD fellowship for 4.5 years) from Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), Surathkal (under the mentorship of Dr. Annappa, former head and Professor, CSE, NITK). During the Ph.D. tenure he has visited 04 foreign universities for academic and research interaction.

He has authored and published 27 papers in indexed international conferences and reputed Journals. He has authored one book chapter. He has delivered 30+ talks on mobile application development and data science (Google certified mobile app developer). His research interests include Process Mining, Data Mining and some aspects of Machine learning. He is successfully executed one private funded project and one is under the development phase. Few of his research papers honoured with best paper award.

His current research includes solving the phenomenon of Concept drift (recurring, incremental, and gradual) in the realm of Data science. He is an avid cyclist and loves to hike in mountains whenever he gets some time out of schedule.


Dr. Ashwini J P, Associate Professor, Dept. of ISE, NMIT

Dr. Ashwini J P received B E degree from VTU, Belagavi in 2002, M.Tech from IIT Bombay in 2009. She got Ph.D from VTU Belagavi in 2017. Her areas of interest include Computer Networks, Cloud and High performance computing.
