Justification:

PEO1: to M1- 3, M2-2, M3 &4 - 1:

Students through excellent teaching and learning process with strong and clear fundamentals of Civil Engineering knowledge will excel to take up challenging professional roles successfully in industry or be successful entrepreneurs to create sustainable built environment, hence PEO1 is mapped strongly to M1.

PEO1 also maps moderately with M2 and slightly with M3 and M4 as it is concerned with motivating the students to take up research and continue their higher education. There are a small percentage of students who participate in co and extracurricular activities and hence mapped weekly.

PEO2:M1 & 2 – 3, M3 &4 - 1

Students are oriented towards various specializations, creating interest in research activities, getting motivated to go for higher studies through strong foundation of core subjects through teaching and adequate infrastructure and hence mapped strongly.

The state of art infrastructure helps students choose their field of higher studies and since only a certain percentage of students opt for higher studies, PEO2 is mapped moderately. The direct impact of involvement of students in Industry Institute Interaction and co and extracurricular activities is considered to be less towards higher studies and research activity and hence mapped low.

PEO3: M1 – 2, M2,3 & 4 - 1

Through involvement in seminars, workshops, presentations and similar activities, the professional traits like communication skills, ethical values and environmental awareness is achieved however, the contribution of teaching and learning towards leadership quality is meager and hence mapped moderately.

Involvement in research activity, Industry Institute Interaction and co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, may contribute partly towards enhancement of leadership qualities, communication skills, ethical values and environmental awareness and hence mapped weakly.
